Jon Rogers:  My wife, Diana,  and I owned and ran a Bed & Breakfast in the mountains of Southern California.  Between guests, I wanted to be able to walk and run with my two dogs without having to worry about holding a leash on uneven mountain roads.  It was just too awkward and hurt my shoulder.  One day, I tied my two leashes to a belt to see how that might work, and the DogJogger idea was born.  Over the next 6 months, I worked with mountain climbing companies (to get the most effective carabiner), webbing companies from all over the world (for the best and lightest belt/leash material), and metal companies (for the longest lasting alloys that we use in our buckles, clips, etc.) and then put together several “test models” and had everyone I knew with a dog (big and small) test them.  The final prototype was ready for the market in 1999, and 12 years later, we’ve sold to every continent, every state in the USA, and continue to listen to our loyal customer base for ideas which become part of our growing product line.  Contact me, by filling in the form, below:
